About Alverna Heights

Mission Statement

Alverna Heights is a sacred place of retreat, renewal, and re-creation in the spirit of Francis and Clare.

We created a Stewardship Project for the Alverna Heights property because we have an obligation to be responsible for those things that are entrusted to our care.

• We have been entrusted with its stewardship,
• All that we have belongs to God who calls us to share it with others,
• We desire to clarify our Franciscan identity (vision) so that people will see what we believe and
• That this belief is reflected in the environment we create at Alverna Heights by offering a place where people can meet God.
