Adjacent to Green Lakes State Park, the Nature Center fosters environmental and leadership skills in a pristine setting with opportunity to enjoy a healthy atmosphere of fun. Leadership development geared toward reverence for the environment is nurtured as students are fed both physically and spiritually. The Franciscan Spirit is an integral part of Alverna Heights.

A well-trained staff offers guidance and direction with activities for groups of all ages. Groups such as Confirmation or Scouts can earn credit hours when involved with Spirituality and Nature Center (SANC) activities.

Trails through the grasslands provide a quiet reflective atmosphere while the wooded area is filled with glimpses of nature in the wild.

Visitors are welcome to use the Nature Center.
